    This place is wonderful. Friendly service full of smiles. Breakfast is served till closing at 3 PM. All of the items are good however, they make the best tuna salad in South Florida

    Since this was started on offering an update. They are now redecorated, some work and offering dinner. Hopefully, the place will remain the same.

    The New/old newport cafe looks good
    with their new owner, an upgrade from
    their old one, they finally got AC, but one
    bad THING they still got the BAD racist
    waitress with new DOOs and smiles.
    No thanks Competition allows me GO somewhere else and spend my hard earned $$ without JAP jokes.

    It has new owner's and it has been revamped .They whole place is clean and inviting. They have two new cooks and the food is really good.I got the chicken salad plate with fresh veggies and fruit  but I started with a cup of fresh made tomato bisque it was creamy and good they also have beer and wine and if you want dessert the have baklava . I am glad we came back. The change is good

    We had the worst experience ever in a restaurant Thursday 3/28/19. Our waitress so disinterested in her job it was appalling! Why did she think she was there?? We had a salad that the lettuce was at least a week old and bottom of the head...yellow and ugly.  We asked for water and she completely forgot it, and finally we reminder her. So very sad, we will not be going back!!  Sorry new owners !

    Listen. Everyone has a bad experience sometime. Our party of 5 was waited on expertly, and while the food was not exceptional, it was well prepared and of goof quality. Above average for a local cafe.
